Black, platinum blond, green, leopard spotted, mohawk, bangs, pixie, etc. Most recently, I&nbsp;cut my hair pretty drastically, from the small of my back all the way up into a pixie with long bangs. At first I was kind of shell-shocked, but I really started to love it. Unfortunately, my hair grows almost an inch a month. I quickly realized I'd be bankrupt trying to keep up with a short cut. And now I'm miserably grinding my way through various awkward grow out stages, counting the days until I can put it up in a pony again. I was quite surprised to see your bangs actually! Lately I think if I didn't already know how bad a chop looks on me I would have been sorely tempted just so that I didn't have to deal with hair for awhile. For myself, I am wondering how much longer I can keep long hair without feeling like I need to cut it to look more "serious" for the job market. My most recent cut created many shorter layers in the front, like a bob, but keeping length in the back. I am growing out my bangs and I hope this will be my new signature look for awhile I remember reading in a book that great style icons of the ages generally land on a hair look that suits them and don't change very much with the years, and this is also a way of staying ageless.
