Then I moved to the country. It's been helpful to find items that just aren't available in stores near me. </p> <p>However, I quickly learned that not all items purchased from Amazon are sold by Amazon, shipped by Amazon, or both. I am very careful what I purchase from there now. If it's not shipped by Amazon I won't buy it and it's not my first preference to buy items that aren't sold by Amazon either. I've started purchasing more directly from manufacturers. I get better service and often better discounts.</p> <p>But overall, I try to buy more in person when I can, even if it means waiting longer and driving farther to do it. It’s a functional item, but I thought some of you here would appreciate it. </p> <p>I decided to treat myself to a new rolling camera bag since my old one was over 15 years old and the wheels are dying. You can supposedly replace the wheels with basic luggage wheels, but I decided to give away the old bag to someone who would enjoy that project, since the old bag is in otherwise good condition, and a new model from a company I really appreciate was on a good sale.</p> <p>I bought the new rolling bag that suits my needs even better, as it accommodates a laptop sleeve in its outer pocket. My old laptop bag is sturdy and serviceable and I’m keeping it, but it’s bulky, black, and not stylish. It will become my secondary laptop case. I decided to try a new sleeve that is slimmer but still padded and functional, and I found this one on Amazon (yeah, I’m drastically reducing my Amazon purchases now but this was an exception). It’s like a bright green puffy jacket for my laptop and it makes me smile!
