Just. too. much. hair. aquamarine, honestly, sweats are what most people in my neighborhood wear...and they look GOOD in them. I live in a dense arts district with tons of dance studios and theaters, so everyone seems super-authentic in comfortable rehearsal clothing. Gillian Pearl, so funny. I just felt sort of stuffy and uptight wearing it. shevia, it was the neck scarf, I'm pretty sure. I dunno. Just didn't feel gritty enough. Sal, true! I appreciate all the kind comments.  Suntiger, being perfectly honest, while I like the abstract idea of this outfit, it feels a little uptight for LA, at least for my neck of the woods.  I don't feel super authentic in it. I think there are more laid-back ways of styling these same pieces that would work better for me (and do). It's fun to try something a tad different, though! Lisa and Inge, that is literally the ONLY corner of my house that gets morning light. And just the tiniest sliver.
