Thank you- I find it really helpful. In looking again at the denim jacket and skirt I suspect it’s not as nice a photo as the one with the yellow cardigan. I love your style and have the same issue with denim jackets and full skirts feeling a bit boxy if there is no waist definition. The cardigan in #6 is fabulous. My son’s at a similar type of school but not a cricketer!! I like your looks here and I really like the last look - the cardigan does look better than the denim. Love the coloured jeans too. I think the black blazer is fine but I too struggle with blazers and skirts. I find them easier with pants or with a dress. You look great overall! And not just from my usually biased 'colour magpie' point of view :P I wonder whether part of the issue in #5 is the proportions? The longer cardigan might work over a longer skirt but, since the jacket is stiffer, does it feel like it adds more bulk without hinting at the waist (from tucking in the top etc)? Good idea to change the denim jacket with the blazer as the blazer would make it more casual.  Bluejay -  Thank you.  Maybe the XI is a British thing which we seem to have inherited.
