It’s just that I want to experience so much in the time I have left and even a contemplative walking tour with writing, journaling and poetry would add a different experience and another form of travel and uniqueness. </p> <p>What I found out and it’s been most helpful in my personal life is that I accomplished something that I had never attempted before and that is a true confidence builder. I accomplished packing a carry-on for two weeks although by the last few days, I was wishing for some variety. </p> <p>I learned that while the bike trip was exhilarating and unique, I need variety in my travel life and a two-hour bike tour would have sufficed. Views were awesome, however!</p> <p>I’ll be looking to you for help when I visit the Scottish Highlands in mid-July on a Road Scholar tour, especially for footwear (seeking cute weatherproof booties that are super comfortable or even some faux Chelsea rubber galoshes!), but that’s later. </p> <p>In the meantime, here are some photos I’ve screenshotted four-up to simplify things. </p>
