Without the belt, the color of the dress isn't as broken up and I feel like I have more balance, but I still have a defined waistline. Is that what the rest of you who liked it best unbelted are seeing too?<br /> Angie, I was a bit of a skeptic at first way back when I read your post about curvy girls and dresses, but I'm totally a convert now and LOVE wearing them. And Anne, even though our figures are quite different, I still struggle until I find a dress I'm comfortable in. I'd say that when I'm dress shopping, I go through about 10-15 "misses" before I find a "hit."<br /> I've mentioned to family members who are asking for suggestions for Christmas gifts that I'd be thrilled with a black "Carissa shirt", so we'll see how it goes! (According to Carissa's website, she's now offering the shirt in cream or chocolate brown as well.)<br /> Arrrgh indeed. Honestly, the pirate costume only came about because it was the only thing that I could assemble with costume pieces that my family or I already owned.
