I have a long cardigan with faux fur collar that is a problem to wear under coats, especially because of the length. My long puffer does work . Plenty of ladies here in my neck of the woods are still wearing hidden wedges with panache. The sweater you refer to is gorgeous. As Angie just mentioned -- a cocoon style coat or roomy puffer could easily be worn over it. I purchased two puffers (one long and one knee length) at one size up from my regular fit specifically for the purpose of wearing over bulkier toppers. Works like a charm. I also have a dressy cape coat that is ideal for this same purpose. And I say Hooray for Flares and Bootcuts.
