I've tried coconut oil but found it a bit heavy for me - even when I apply and then wash out (I do use it on my legs!). I'm glad to hear that all the effort I put into making it look as fluffy as possible pays off I don't currently use coconut oil, but when I was little my mom used to use it monthly (along with an egg white mask) and our hair was always super shiny and soft.
