Some stores just know what they have and will ask top dollar - like TJMaxx prices - for it.<br /> Bryan got three brand new pair of BR trousers (wool blend, his favorite). He already owned one of them that I paid $99 for ON SALE. Each pair at Goodwill was $12.99.<br /> The shoes ranged in price from $5 to $10 depending on the store. The new Seychelles were $10, but they're currently $80-90 online, and since they were already in my wishlist... ;)<br /> Goodwill tends to be a bit more pricey in general. Savers is my favorite local thrift shop. It seems more like Value Village, but not as expensive. It's huge and VERY well organized, but the prices are pretty good.<br /> I found a great CK cropped denim jacket for $8, compared to a similar version currently at JCrew for 10X that (plus!).<br /> So the key is to know what you're looking for, check quality, and make sure you need it.<br /> I was in Old Navy yesterday and picked up multiple items that had holes in them - and not on seams. I'd rather pay the same price for something of better quality that happened to be routed through Goodwill. But you pass a lot of nothings before you hit gold. It takes patience!<br /> Bella, only the leopard print top is from BE. BE is my favorite resale shop for sure. I've scored two DVF dresses there (brand new, with tags) for around $50, designer denim for $30 (although I grabbed my friend a pair of white 7FAMs for $18), etc. It's more expensive than thrift stores, but if you trade items it's worth it. Bryan still has a pain that is undiagnosed, but they ruled out bones, which is a good first step.
