I like your new shirt. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/a-denim-set-a-wide-crop#post-2353921 Wed, 28 Feb 2024 14:46:01 +0000 Mary Beth (formerly LBD) 2353921@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>(Sorry to have been radio silent these past weeks, things got crazy busy here…)</p> <p>In my previous <a rel="nofollow" href="https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/a-compass-rose-thinking-pink-a-plan-for-2024">2024 style goals</a> post, I had wide-leg denim, and a chambray shirt on my wishlist. &nbsp;Recently, I had the good fortune to come across both, shopping secondhand.</p> <p> <div>#1 The thrifted chambray vintage shirt is Dolce &amp; Gabbana, from their “&amp;Jeans” line. &nbsp;The dark color makes it look like actual denim, but the fabric is supple, with a slight sheen, and it matches well with mid- and darker wash jeans. &nbsp;It has snap closures and is more fitted than a traditional chambray shirt, which I really dig. &nbsp;And the red topstitching gives it a bit of a western 1950s cowgirl feel. &nbsp;I think this really ticks my “Ralph Lauren Meets Film Noir” vibe I was looking for. &nbsp;<div><br /></div><div>#2 The black jeans are the Paige Brooklyn Crop, from consignment. &nbsp;They are a size larger than I usually wear, so they are more of a sailor pant on me, which thrills me to no end. &nbsp;I don’t care for crop pants on myself because my skinny ankles + crops = canoe feet. &nbsp;</div></div><div><br /></div><div>#3 - the shirt<br />#4 - stock photo of the jeans<br />#5-6 are styling ideas I plan to try. &nbsp;I’d wear flats or espadrilles with the mini, not heels.</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div> </p>
