I've topped it with a white Jean jacket, a blue jean jacket, the embroidered Zara bomber jacket. It's been to work, to dinner, to the Caribean, and to a funeral. You can style it with flip flops, sneaks, or heels. It's a no brainer basic. </p> <p>The dark wash shorts just plain look great on you. </p> <p>I have a poison eye for cameo. Sorry! Seriously, since my legs are not exactly my most spectacular feature, I did not expect to get such positive response to "short" shorts, but if these are winners, I'll gladly keep both pairs!&nbsp;</p> <p>Yeah, somehow the pants look better in the mirror than they do in photos, but I will keep looking. I also suspect that these will loosen a lot with wear, which is not a bad thing, but these have the potential to look baggy-butt rather than pleasantly loose and boyfriend-y. Now that I've tried on some of my pants and bottoms (including re-trying a few that I tried on a mere month ago), it's obvious I lost a little weight on my trip (for which I am very grateful, it was needed!). I agree with others that the shorts look better than the cargos, although the cargos are fine. You look terrific in&nbsp;both of the denim shorts! &nbsp;I would agree with you that the cargos would be best with solid tops. Black t's are perfect with all these looks as are the metallic sneakers. I didn't realize Lucky made shorts although I'm not surprised. Their sizing works for me so I'll have to look for them. I also agree with Angie on preferring the unrolled look on the shorts. That's what I prefer for myself anyway. It has to do with what the underside of the fabric is...if it's exactly the same as the outer fabric&nbsp; then it exactly matches when rolled/cuffed. Really helpful, and a pleasant surprise that the shorts got such high approval! </p> <p> I'm going to hang onto the Anthro pants while I continue to look for a solid-color version of cargos/crops. I pulled my summer bottoms out of storage last night and tried them all on, and there is not a lot. I wore my blue rolled chinos from Anthro yesterday and they are really comfortable. The pinstripes from Anthro from last year are wonderfully lightweight too. My other crops are mostly heavier fabric like denim, so less likely to be worn when the temps are above 80. My non-clamdigger length shorts collection could definitely use help -- there were only two pairs I would wear out of the house, so I'll keep both of these. I still have a handful of summer skirts that have some life in them. </p> <p>The dress is a keeper. I do have a black dress left from last summer (from WH/BM) but it skews dressier and is not as breezy as this one. I expect I will still enjoy the breezy blue dress I got last year too. </p> <p>I think I'm pretty set for summer! A new pair of sandals might be in the cards still, but no critical need. I need to get my feet healthy and healed first.
