I wear skirts/dresses exclusively for about 6 months of the year, then maybe half the time in colder weather. </p> <p>The fabric of the dress is like a jersey so isn't super dressy. I like the length, since nearly all my things are knee length- though it may be hot when it gets to the 90s! Will pair it with cognac accents. I ordered some EF espadrilles in metallics for summer today although it is too cold yet to wear them.. you can probably figure out how to wear your new pieces year round. It turned out to be one of the best things I bought--can be dressed up or down, great for hot weather, easy fitting. Great choice.&nbsp;</p> <p>The skirt looks like a great choice as well. Very comfortable and I wanted a LBD that was less businessy for weekends. It has a kinda high slit on one side so probably not for work- but good for the beach, jazz concerts, etc (someday).</p> <p>The skirt is same as I have in black, but the blue is greyer and lighter than it appears in pic. And much greyer and lighter than the whole of my wardrobe. I tried it with several things, inc the new rust BR sweater and liked it. Made me think of Roxanna's warm-cool pairings. We'll see. It's pima, and was inexpensive, so may eventually toss it in a teal dye bath </p> <p>Still waiting on the rest of my biking kit to arrive, and got some hiking pieces in mind (ahem...cart). </p>
