I love suits in that style but have yet to find one that works for me. I'm quite picky about wearing only "bra-sized" swimsuits (that is, suits that have a full-on, underwired, properly-fitting bra built right in) and so am pretty restricted to the brands and styles. I did buy this style from Bravissimo this year, which has a similar feeling: http://www.bravissimo.com/prod.....Mv1zFqM%3d You can wear it strapless, which is very retro-looking!

Cookie, thanks for the Norma Kamali link. I've had my eye on that suit for years. I recall it used to cost 350.00! How great is that 99.00 price tag? What a gorgeous suit.

Very high marks on the Anthropologie one you posted, Dashrashi. A relative of mine bought it while visiting here (online....not in the stores unless they get a return from what I understand). She is a curvy girl and it looked incredibly flattering on her! It was kind of a steep price for her, but she said it was worth every penny and I would have to agree.

Love it! I have a very similar one and my bf is a huuuuuge fan:
http://www.modcloth.com/store/.....e+in+Black

Anthro also has a similar one right now:
http://www.anthropologie.com/a.....plateType=

I have a large chest and relatively small hips, and the straight-across bottom really helps balance out my figure. Plus, I don't have to put sunscreen on my stomach or lower back!

Interesting - I admire the styling (and the cobalt blue is stunning!) but don't know if the way that it cuts across the top of the thigh would be flattering for many women.

The blog that Angie posted today made me think of something that some of you might be interested in. If you like the look of Deborah Kerr's suit it reminds me of "The Original Norma Kamali Swimsuit" that is available in black, white, cobalt, or yellow. Go to normakamali.com and check it out. This suit sells for less than $100 and they have a 48 hour "try before you buy" policy and they also can help you via skype. It looks modest and yet stunningly attractive at the same time.
