Yes I agree April...you can find gems just about anywhere. My comment about the style of clothing not being my taste, is a generalization. I based that on the clothing in the catalog I received. I'm sure there are other items available on their website that are not shown in their catalog.

Hi Nicole -- I have learned from paying attention to the amazingly stylish women here that even companies whose overall look doesn't appeal to you (too fussy, too young, too hootchie-mama) can yield the odd piece here and there that can make an outfit.

I've noticed that Tanya, for example, is brilliant at this; she often seems to wear a single piece from an unexpected place such as Victoria's Secret that looks great as part of an outfit, while the outfit in total is nothing like that "VS look." I think the key is the "single piece" idea. Kind of like what Angie says about vintage, or biker: a single piece can be fab, a whole outfit would be kitsch.

And that jacket is very cute!

I recieved a catalog in the mail yesterday. It's called Metro Style--the stuff really isn't quite my taste--a little too colorful and slinky sexy...but they had this really cute leather jacket and though I'd post it. Thier stuff is very inexpensive but the quality doesn't look all that great--but I've never actually seen any of the items in person.
