Lovely! The changes you listed sound great for work. I can also see the work version with your awesome patent red blocky pumps! As for the neckline, I think it looks sweet as-is but a dramatic/wide cuff could be a fun accessory.

I agree with what Anne says, Deborah! It's lovely as is, can certainly be switched up as you say for work, and accessories aren't really necessary, especially if it is super hot. In fact, that makes the embellishment of the top a bit of a bonus.

I think it's great just as is, but swapping the jeans for slim trousers and flats will work too. I wouldn't add anything else at the neckline.

I love your style with a bit of drama. The way you describe using the top for work sounds great.

Dramatic and sweet, Deborah! Your two toned flats or red flats would also look fab.

Love all! The uneven hem is beautiful here, as it is long enough to be flaterring.
Love the animal flats, too-and I would wear it to work like it is, or like you said, also.
If you feel like adding something to accessorize top, despite of the existing embelishment, you can try a dainty wire chocker with small pendant or a very long(almost to the waist), simple/several strain or Y necklace, in a neutral finish (consisting of small eyechains or so-not too bold, just in a black metal-i would post a pictie with one I have, to look at, but missing the "add photo"-button here:-((

I just replied and it isn't coming up...
Anyway, I think it is a gorgeous outfit and that the changes you outlined would indeed make it suitable for work. Also that you don't really need extra ornamentation with this top.

Hi fellow fashionistas (just trying to vary my greeting ),

I have a meeting at my house this evening - I'm involved in a local community care organization - kind of threw this on after dinner and wondered if this might be a passable work outfit if I swapped out the jeans for my skinny leg tailored pants and added a shoe with a small heel, or perhaps my two toned flats?

I bought this top last summer but struggled with what to wear it with. Also because of the detail at the neck I don't think it needs much accessorizing but I still think it needs something.

Your thoughts and suggestions always appreciated.

Thanks, and happy Monday
Deborah
