I like that look, too! And I think that a normal person could wear something like that with no problem.

Great pics, Mochi! I love the simple styles. I had the same fave as Rae and Sveta, funny! It's that jacket, sheesh, so fab. Thanks for sharing these inspirations.

I love the outfit Rae loved best too - which is almost the odd one out of the lot. It's the only style that is polished and has strong classic elements and clean lines.

Rae, that was my favorite too!
I think Shevia is onto something because these pictures to span several quite different styles...

That's a fascinating and completely unexpected theory, shevia. I'd have to revisit the pics, but you may be onto something. Incidentally, I kind of feel like certain looks I really aspire to (the kind of "mod" look--for lack of a better word--that Angie does so brilliantly--is completely unsuitable to me...because I have curly hair, not the right physique, etc etc.)

Just clicked on a few right now, but especially love the one with the blouse and flat loafers in Milan. One thing I noticed from my quick glance is each one is quite different but very well integrated with the whole look of the person. So there was the sort of school girl look with hair up and minimal makeup, and so on. Maybe what you are admiring is the integration and integrity of each look rather than the style per se (not that the different looks aren't great, just not necessarily similar).

You find the best pics! I really love the one with the military jacket and bootcuts.

These didn't grab me the same way the last ensemble did (which apparently had quite an impact here as well). Nonetheless, they're looks that I really found captivating. I see quite a lot of gorgeous outfits on that site, but I intentionally tried to collect some ideas that could be doable by the average person.

Love the clean lines and that plain white t is so angular and arty:

http://www.thesartorialist.com.....tee-milan/

Kind of an outlier here because it's flamboyant and I'll never find a coat like that, but I adore it:

http://www.thesartorialist.com.....ni-milano/

Not sure I could wear this well, but just gorgeous:

http://www.thesartorialist.com.....ni-milano/

Love all the haphazard, multitextural layering, and I totally want some arty black leather booties:

http://www.thesartorialist.com.....e-paris-2/

Another pared-down look. The cut of her blouse is striking, and contrasts fabulously with the necklace:

http://www.thesartorialist.com.....omo-milan/

The girl's ensemble is not particularly unusual...I just love the white Cons here:

http://www.thesartorialist.com.....stockholm/

Just cool:

http://www.thesartorialist.com.....-new-york/

Another really uncomplicated look, but lovely and artful:

http://www.thesartorialist.com.....-paris-13/

Simple, and perfect:

http://www.thesartorialist.com.....e-milan-4/

More stripes, and I like her shoes and skirt:

http://www.thesartorialist.com.....s-paris-8/
