If it's not a perfect fit/material it's not worthy keeping.  Roberta - I adore these Caslon Terry Button Up Shirts, they are one of my favorite items this year from NAS! Suz - I dropped off the pants this weekend to get them shortened. Since I already have wide legs in this material, I think it will be nice to have a cropped pair for warmer weather. The Johnny collars are really nice for style, but I don't trust the fabric so they will be returned. unfrumped - I hope the button-up shirts work for you. I plan to use them the same way as a "cardigan" over my graphic tees during our transitional season. Then button-up when it's colder. kellygirl - I've defintely struggled this NAS with pant lengths. They always seem to short lately! And I'm not tall! It's frustrating to have to keep running to Nordstrom's for tailoring, but alas, that's short person problems. :) Angie - NAS has been very good this year! I didn't think it would top last year but it might actually be even better than last year for me. When I first heard NAS had a lot of blues, I knew I'd do well. :) The Johnny collar tops were returned when I dropped off tailoring items this weekend (I'm getting the Caslon pants shortened and the Halogen kick flares lengthened. Pants lengths are all over the place this year for me). I agree with your clients, the style is lovely but the material is such a disappointment.  The yellow windbreaker is a color I'm going to keep in mind, but too oversized for my tastes.  The Terry shirts are one of my favorite items from NAS this year. I adore them! bella - The Johnny collar tops are such a disappointment, but the fabric is definitely a deal breaker for me. Oh well, plenty of other goodies at NAS this year! They are not top picks because of their stiff fabric  - clients were disappointed :(  The lemon windbreaker is a fun colour, yet too oversized. I know it's fashion forward, but IMO extreme. I vote return. The Terry shirts are winners! I know the fabric is delicious, and you will wear them. Cute over tanks too.  Great pants, and thumbs up to shorten! Those are great. I don't love the yellow pullover--the color is great, but it overwhelms you. I agree about the pants--I'd want them shorter or longer. Sometimes the cropped pants work well as full length for us shorties but these just seem a little in between. Love the V neck tee on you -- lovely fit and drape.  The Johnny collar tops do look a little big. I wonder if they would shrink and soften in the wash. I could barely get the cuff to stay up long enough to take the photos! We are on the same wavelength. *high five* I think the shorter version will be great for our warmer weather and the wide legs I already have for cooler days.  The two Johnny collar tops are a disappointment. One size down and they will not fit my shoulders. The knit button ups are a home run and pair well with the pants so I'm fine passing on these. The yellow jacket was another disappointment. I adore the color and material but not the fit for exactly the reason you've mentioned! The rest of my Caslon order came in today. #1 - Navy Caslon Drawstring Terry Pants and White Johnny Collar Knit Long Sleeve Top These pants are a similar material to a pair of wide legs I already own (you can see them in my <a rel="nofollow" href="https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/i-found-my-new-travel-outfit">new travel outfit here</a>.) I paired the pants with the white Johnny Collar Knit with a half tuck. #2 and #3 - With Navy/White Stripe Johnny Collar Knit Long Sleeve Top I'm wearing the striped version of this top untucked so you can see the length. I'm on the fence with these Johnny Collar Knit Long Sleeve tops. I really like both Johnny collars and knits, but the material of these is slightly stiff/scratchy. It's 100% cotton. I'll probably send these back.  #4 - With Cotton and Modal V-Neck Striped Tee I already own this tee, but I noticed it's available during NAS so I wanted to show how well it pairs with the pants in case anyone was thinking about either item. This tee is very soft and comfortable to wear. #5 and #6 - Should I Shorten the Pants? I'm trying to show the pants shorter in length. I keep running into this issue with cropped pants being not long enough but also not cropped enough on me. Alas short people problems. Should I shorten the pants or leave the length as is? I will only wear these pants with fashion sneakers and flat sandals.  #7 and #8 - Popcorn Yellow Fila x Hailey Windbreaker I ran out of daylight and had to go indoors. This windbreaker isn't NAS but the yellow color caught my eye because it's bright and fun. The windbreaker is very soft on the inside with a nice lining. But it's also very oversized. DH was not a fan of this one. #9 - Navy Caslon French Terry Button-Up Shirt The pants pair very well with the button up shirts from NAS.  #10 - Sky Blue Caslon French Terry Button-Up Shirt These French terry button-up shirts are one of my favorite Caslon items from NAS this year. #11 - Navy Caslon Double Breasted Blazer The top half of this outfit is from my <a rel="nofollow" href="https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/i-found-my-new-travel-outfit">new travel outfit.</a> These pants could sub in for the wide leg pants of the travel outfit if needed. #12 - Navy Caslon Relaxed Knit Blazer This blazer is from last year's NAS.
