I didn’t put it together that these were the dark jeans that you were previously mentioning, because I do agree with ChrisM that they do seem to give more the impression of wider leg trousers rather than flared jeans. Unlike her, I think that the shape is kind of fun and that you should consider them as slightly exaggerated trouser jeans and go from there. Knowing that they are blue helps with the impression of the tunic outfit, but in that case I think you might instead do some sort of cork or straw wrapped wedge or clog to reference the main color and texture and color of the hat. I think that would help to keep the vibe more casual. </p> <p>The explanation about the boots is helpful. I like the clothing with the more rounded toe boots more. I don’t really think that the leg elongating property of the pointy toe is used for any specific effect in the outfit: they aren’t added to be in contrast to anything. It’s fun that NAS has similar styles in their current catalog!</p> <p>The jeans are nice, but in my mind, they need to make a decision: do they want to be trousers and fall straight from the hip? Or do they want to be flares? If so, they need to be tailored closer on the hip and thigh. My opinion is that the tunic needs flares to contrast the floaty tunic top and the black tee needs the trouser cut.
