My hair was not big enough. I do remember the 80s very well. I was thinking I needed my reebok Velcro high tops.</p> <p>Also kissing potion seems like more of a late 70s thing. I owned a few of those and had a large collection of bonne bell lip smackers. The '80's were fun times. Everyone and everything seemed bigger than life. (Grace Jones -- still LOVE her!!!) I sometimes miss my "big and flammable" hair and can remember how much time, effort and product went into making it that BIG. And it took even longer to do the "spackle and paint job" on my face. My mom wouldn't even let me wear any until I was fifteen (1987) and by then I think the crazy blue eyeshadow trend was waning. Plus, my eyes are small and somewhat deep-set, so heavy application of eyeliner or eyeshadow tends to make them look like two black holes in my face -- something that was manifestly obvious to me even back then (and judging by my hairstyles, my teenage self lacked judgment).
