Generally it is fine with gentle cycle washing. Line drying is a must. I find it's also fine when in a laundry bag. Actually any item that needs hand washing has been fine in a laundry bag. But items wrinkle a lot in the bag. I don't feel like having to iron in high summer!</p> <p>Thank you all! After your input I've decided to pass on this top. Linen is a strong fabric and from your experience it sounds like even just 20 % is enough to do the job of making it stable. It was less than $20 so I took a gamble dyeing it. Instructions were cold delicate wash only. It held up fine in the washing machine to being dyed at 60 degrees. No shrinkage. They do crease so I just wear them casually, but I wash them in the machine in cold water on a normal cycle. It adds a soft silky smooth drape that feels soooo good on the skin! As far as it blended with linen - I don't have personal experience with the combination.
