One thing I'm finding is that those wooden platforms have less "give" than I like and end up being too uncomfortable. I've returned a couple of pairs for that reason already this spring. I do have a great woven espadrille platform with nude straps from Clarks from two seasons ago that are still in great shape; those will be my taller sandals this summer, methinks. (I also saw the same pair at the Clarks outlet last week. I am considering duplicating.) </p> <p>The one thing I do caution about the Riannes is that they run a little big.
