If you didn't, you could look for your credit card bill and take a copy of that, just to show good faith to them that you're not trying to pull something over on them. <br />I have a pair of Paige jeans in the Hidden Hills cut, too, and they have lasted more than 2 years with lots of wear. So there is definitely something defective with this pair of yours.
