The jeans are such a good fit. I think you can crop them as you've shown, and 3 inches above the ankle bone sounds right (it's hard to tell from the photo angle), and wear them with high-shaft booties or oxfords. I could also see you hemming them a little longer (or perhaps leaving them as is) and wearing them rolled, boyfriend-style. I kind of like the cropped idea, though. Hard to asses the length from the angle of the photo, but 3" is within the sweet spot Angie suggests, so I bet the length is good. The blazer is the piece I'm not sure about here. I&nbsp;haven't styled any of the outfits and sorry for bad photo light.</p> <p><b>#1: </b>a fun scarf, a vintage wool blazer and a matching handbag, vintage cashmere sweater<br /> <b>#2:</b> jeans. I'm keeping them despite the imperfect (matronly) </p> <p>fit. I may alter them at the waist. They are comfy and I'll probably wear tops that cover the mid section or do a half tuck.</p> <p><b>#3:</b> PPL? I hacked the jeans about 3 inch (8 cm) above the ancle bone. Does it look right?</p> <p><b>#4: </b>Vintage, 100% wool, great quality. But is it too tight? There is some inseam room. I'm wondering if the fit would improve if I let it out?</p> <p><b>#5:</b> cashmere sweater. Definately a keeper :-)<br /> <b>#5:</b> blazer/scarf/bag together (sorry for poor pic quality!)</p>
