Is there something that makes you feel good in? I have a "little red dress" that I just feel great in, so if I am in a situation like this, I tend to wear that dress because I know it fits well and looks nice without being too over the top. If the dress code is cocktail it fits in, but it also works in a more casual setting. You will be with your husband and I am sure that you will get on really well with his old school friends and their spouses.
