I think the length of your tops is fine, but I am not good at seeing proportions. 5/6 is my favorite. All your clothes fit you beautifully and so even if you felt too busy to put much effort in, the fact that you have purchased wisely and built an amazing wardrobe has meant that no one would have ever guessed that. My favourites are the Cos dress and high boots and the pink leather jacket - which is such a fun piece.  Hope the forthcoming week is less trying. Sterling, thank you!   And you should look into this dress.  The fabric is wonderful, a soft, boiled wool.  And it's a definite ink colour.  I will definitely try to wear this jacket again during the challenge.  I don't have a lot of colour in the capsule, so that's a good reason right there! I think an even longer top would look good with the crops, too. I struggle with silhouettes where the top and bottom look approx equal in length, so going either shorter or longer breaks that equal proportion issue. I struggle with cropped pants but they do look good with the sorels. I wonder whether a slightly shorter top might be needed to finesse the proportions? Elizabeth P on "30x30: work, #9-12 casual #9,10" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/30x30-work-9-12-casual-910#post-1883439 Sat, 27 Jan 2018 17:39:14 +0000 Elizabeth P 1883439@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ I just lost my entire post, it crashed as I was submitting it - not sure if I have the mental energy to post all my comments again.  Grr!  So here's the abbreviated version: Struggled a bit this week, only because there were things I felt like wearing, so I wore them.  I was too busy and mentally fried to put too much effort into thinking about what I might want to be wearing for the next month.  I might be fine, but I might regret adding some of these pieces (and feeling restricted by that).  But then again, it might force creativity and lightbulb moments!     1.  Work.  I haven't been wearing these cropped flares much this year at all.  I struggle with styling them.  Maybe the Sorels with breath new life into them. 2.  Casual.  Swapped out the trousers for skirted leggings, for book club.  Loved this. 3.  Work 4. Work - was in a sort of conference thing, wanted to wear a jacket.  I don't wear jackets much, I think it's because they are so bulky under coats, esp when driving.  Will see if this gets worn again.  5-6.  Work.  Lemminged the COS wool dress from Toban.  I know I said no more work clothes this year... oops.  I love it though :) 6.  Work banquet.  Don't care if these items get worn again in my 30 capsule(s), it was a one off special event.  A room full of engineers, I was the only pop of color in a sea of black and navy! 7.  Casual Friday.  Numbers so far:  Total 43 (My total is 60 for two months, so I'm doing fine...) Casual 20, work 25.  I'm already playing with ways to remix the pieces already in the capsule, so think I'm good for a while.  Comments on anything and everything welcome!
