The dainty ones play nicely with patterned tops, which I wear a lot, so I've never felt a need for larger-format jewelry. This is a new wardrobe hole! We left Saturday morning for Canada and didn't get home 'til late Tuesday evening. I traveled with a small capsule: jersey midi dress, floral chambray shirt, black denim cut-offs, striped breton top, red espadrilles, navy Allbirds, sunhat, and black crossbody bag. I also brought a pajama tee and shorts. And for gear: a pair of nylon shorts, a merino tee, my trail runners, my sport sandals, and my swimsuit. Everything got worn at least twice. It was a successful capsule, though my husband did comment on the number of shoes. :)</p> <p>Wednesday -- I wore my cinnamon crops again, paired with black tank, navy blazer, and navy slide sandals. Then DS soaked me with the garden hose, and just as I was almost dried off he spilled chocolate milk on me -- so no photo for me that day! And no staining either -- glad to be wearing a black $5 top...</p> <p>Thursday -- I wore my troublesome white Everlane tee again, plus my black jersey skirt, with field jacket and Allbirds. Kind of a boring outfit for a busy day. Didn't get home until after dark, and too exhausted for a pic.</p> <p>Friday -- I'm *finally* wearing my black silk tank top from Grana, which means I'm down to just one item in my capsule with zero wears. I'm wearing my green chinos again, plus my black closed-toe sandals. Heading over to friends' place for a cookout. Wishing I had a bolder necklace to jazz up my simple solid top. (I've felt this way numerous times during the challenge, pretty much any time I wear a solid color top without a contrasting topper!)</p> <p>My wear tracking reveals that I'm wearing my items fairly evenly, and my heaviest hitters are my messenger bag, my sunhat, and my Allbirds. I have only one item that hasn't been worn at all yet, a gorgeous striped linen sundress which I feel justified in treating as a bit precious. It's not the kind of thing I want to wear to do kid crafts at the library, etc, but I did want to include something a little dressier in my capsule -- my husband's birthday is next week and I plan to wear it then when we go out to celebrate. </p>
