That was a key learning for me from YLF. While you seem set for burgundy low heeled boots, I wanted to share these with a fellow burgundy palette lover. I recently bought these and love the them. I found them on Amazon at a great price and then researched them and saw they were an Angie top pick from NAS a few year ago. The reviews said the E was more like a C/D, so I went with E. They were a bit roomy in the instep but an added insole made them perfect with socks. And so comfortable! It’s neat how it can have quite a different look when folded! A lot of the fringe disappears and the colors are more subtle (more blue). When I say pointy ends together, I mean diagonal so that it is the longest possible length. I fold it by doubling three times and put the pointy ends on the inside, hidden. What I especially love is that I can fold it (pointy ends together, then keep doubling it until it's about 4" wide) and it becomes more streamlined and not bulky. I wear the necklace underneath and take the scarf 'rope’ and do one wrap around my neck so that both pointy ends drape down. The necklace just peeks out. I often double up on necklaces and scarves because I sometimes get frustrated or too warm with a scarf and take it off, so I want my outfit to be complete without the scarf.<br /> <b><br /> Elizabeth P</b>, thank you! I am fortunate to have some discretionary income to help me look my best on this weight loss journey. The journey is LONG, so it would be really hard to not update as I go. To be the most cost effective and yet still versatile, I have tried really, really hard to not buy duplicates of any thing. So new purchases are to replace something that no longer fits that is necessary in my wardrobe. e.g., one print skirt, one boot cut jean, one straight jean, one dress pant, one sheath dress, one drapey dress. I do allow a couple duplicates in silhouette but different colors for my tops.<b> </b>So variety in silhouettes but not within a silhouette.<b><br /> </b><br /> The COS dress is a very rich, dark navy with texture. It isn't a muted navy, though. I find that I can't predict my size with COS. I would have expected to be a large in this dress, but I sized down to manage the volume, but I can't do this on all items. It is a straight fit, but by sizing down it drapes and hits my curvy chest and hints at a waist. It is a fantastic, comfortable dress. Note that it is dry clean only.
