I think the proportions are off in #2. From the line of your shoulder to the bottom of your top is slightly more than from there to the bottom of the skirt -- and from there to the bottom of your boot is shorter which together makes your legs look short. With your black and white outfit, your jacket is open, so the eye is drawn higher to where the top of the skirt and top meet. If the bottom tier of the skirt weren't there, maybe it would work better proportion-wise. I felt the boldness of the jacket needed another bold item. I wore this to church so kept the shoes prim and proper instead of the expected black pumps which seemed to make the outfit more party-like. What do you think? OTT? </p>
