My sister’s luggage never arrived in London, and her daughter’s wedding was three days later. So as you’d expect there has been a default of solid suit+solid shirt+tie. For Christmas we wanted to get him a new suit, but I wanted him to also explore some new ideas for color and pattern, so I booked a 1 hour consult with a men’s shopper. </p> <p>Our stylist did a great job listening and bringing items that would fit a recent college grad in a conservative environment, He tried 5 different suits with various shirt combos, and we walked out with a gorgeous Ted Baker navy plaid suit, a light green with navy shirt, a navy with white print tie, and a pair of tan loafers. But the best part was seeing DS’s smile get bigger as he tried on each item. What a great experience and fabulous outcome. </p> <p>I’m sending a note to Nordstrom, but knew you all would appreciate the story too. Happy holidays! </p>
