They are slightly duller/dusty and veer more towards brown than orange. The bags I call cognac are way off and won’t work with them but my cream bag will. The leopard belt and bag that work with my cognac shoes don’t work all that well; no surprise. Looks like I will have to play around more and think long and hard about this color.</p> <p>Meanwhile, I am awaiting the same style in the color that looks taupe on my screen but is supposed to be more gray. I will report on that color, too. These were wide enough in front which I didn’t expect. They were too deep and rubbed at the throat which is common for me. When I added a heel cup type insole my heel slipped big time. They do that with Dansko oxfords as well. Be warned that these shoes make your feet look long.</p> <p>This rayon shirt can be worn as a tunic as the back is extra long. The plaids match!!! It also had taupe/taupish gray which you don’t see in the photo. It had pintucks in the upper arms by the shoulders and in the back where you might expect a tuck. This runs true to Caslon sizing so a PXS fits rather than PS. </p> <p>Angie’s Top Pick booties seem to fit but the other two colors haven’t yet shipped. I will make my final decision when they arrive and continue to run these through their paces. </p>
