And the suit looks so brand new! I also am on the "clothing museum" side and find that often my old items fade a bit and that's how they show their wear.</p> <p>I second the suggestion to get the waist altered to be more comfortable. Since it looks good on you it probably won't take too much to make it comfy. There may even be seam allowance (as with most men's wear, grrr) given that it was a high-end piece. Omg amazing suit and looks marvelous. I am in you camp. I still wear my Dana Buchanan suit which is 22 yo and it looks modern and elegant. It's when DB was doing high end bridge clothing and same it was the most expensive pieces. Great fabric, fit and design really hold up. I also have a mondi jacket a blue, black plaid w a silver thread. Same age. Silk blouses too. Good clothes are an investment and do last. I'm glad to find someone else who keeps their great pieces a long time. Sorry the pants are snug.
