For going out I usually&nbsp;wear sheer tights. One day I was in a hurry, quickly slipped my silver oxfords&nbsp;on the patterned socks and off I went. Surprisingly I found the combination&nbsp;funny and interesting. Hence my resolution for the new year. <br /> <b>Warm colors</b>. In addition to my usual cool colors, I have always liked<br /> and worn cream. Recently I am feeling attracted also to cinnamon, mustard, pale&nbsp;yellow … But I think that I had better to experiment these colors with bottoms, I think&nbsp;they are not flattering near my face.</p> <p><b>Wardrobe holes. </b>&nbsp;More specifically, my wardrobe&nbsp;holes are:</p> <p> - occasion wear (Christmas Season, the occasional fancy restaurant, other&nbsp;festive events)<br /> - Summer dresses. A perennial unicorn. My ideal summer dress is impossible to&nbsp;find: not short, not sleeveless, no deep neckline, made in a fabric that I&nbsp;like, in a color that I like, fluid but not too overwhelming, no defined waist&nbsp;(I have a long waist and the waist on dresses always hits just below my&nbsp;ribcage). I have recently found a seamstress who seems promising, I want to&nbsp;consult her about having my dresses tailor-made. &nbsp;</p> <p>- a few classic elegant pieces for any occasion that requires to be polished – to&nbsp;go to the doctor/hospital/ public offices and, God forbid! funerals.</p> <p><b>Plan</b>. It’s not yet what I aspire to (70-60) but it’s ok.</p> <p>I have found some pretty&nbsp;pieces that have quickly become workhorses. </p> <p>As usual there have been some cases of&nbsp;“wardrobe hole panic”. This always happens in the Christmas season, during my Summer&nbsp;holidays and on some other occasions. </p> <p>Goals for 2025:</p> <p>Try to build a small wardrobe made&nbsp;of excellent pieces (I want to start again buying in quality boutiques where it is&nbsp;easier to find things I love and make me feel fab and therefore I wear repeatedly&nbsp;with joy).</p> <p>Fix the wardrobe holes.</p> <p>Try some new-to-me colors – I am a&nbsp;cool color person but recently I'm&nbsp; feeling attracted to some warm colors.</p> <p>Wear fancy socks. </p> <p>And last but not least … have fun&nbsp;with fashion!</p> <p>Thank you for reading.
