I am still very much in the planning process, but have identified a couple of things so far that I need for the coming warmer months: 1. Striped long sleeve tee (I see I am not the only one!) - replacement, as I just discovered a hole in the neckline of my old one. I have been VERY happy with the quality of the Saint James that I have (it's going on 9 years of heavy wear, and it's one of the thinner cotton ones), so am debating whether I should go for that again or try something different.  2. Spring flats - I need something that is dressier than sneakers, and I have a hard time wearing loafers, so I guess that leaves...ballet flats? I haven't worn ballet flats in years, but am thinking of revisiting.  3. Lightweight jacket - again, not sure which style I want to go for. It's ridiculous and taking up closet space! I'm looking forward to clearing them out. I've already purchased a white v-neck t-shirt, black and navy striped t-shirt, bubblegum pink t-shirt (all 3 t-shirts from Old Navy), and a white with black striped sweatshirt (see Find below). I instead focus on the model's proportions (subtracting my height ofc) & the garment's length (if it's listed). I've also intentionally measured my crop length over my bust (to get a 'truer' idea of how far it'll hike up) Plus I only going truly cropped (at the waist) for my outerwear, so I can still wear stuff underneath it & not flash the world, lol I don't have any events to shop for this S/S season (already sorted my Eid outfit in the January sale, & I plan to wear a dress I own for a summer wedding), plus I've already had great luck ticking off some HEWIs this year (inc. teal socks, cotton turtlenecks, metallic sandals, camel underpinnings). So I think I'll just stick to tracking down stuff on my general HEWI list than anything season specific (now it's mostly items in chocolate brown & natural fibres, lol). My list is a general guidance, more like an upper limit then a real to get list.  Since I have been operating based on seasonal themes lately, it has three parts: general, spring theme and summer theme. General items are: 1. HEWI navy leather tote 2. Watch with white leather strap 3. 1-2 inexpensive trendy white tops 4. Wide full length jeans: white for sure, light wash maybe Spring: 5. Mary jane shoes 6. Cropped tweed jacket 7. Cropped boxy striped button-down shirt 8. Full length wide pants, ideally in cobalt blue 9. Sheer/tulle blouse/top 10. Romantic item (blouse, skirt or dress) in large pale floral Summer is TBD. I have two pairs of shorts, and a pair of leggings ordered.  Fingers crossed, they work out.  I saw the denim shirt at J. Crew.  I may go back and get it. We are in Florida until the end of March.  We are going to an outdoor shopping mall in Jacksonville next week.  I hope to pick some things up there. Zaeobi, with my short waist, midrise is a high rise on me I do have to be careful about cropped lengths ... I want it to be cropped-esque but not too short ... I need full coverage and just edited out a sweater that was too short - I had thought high waists would fill in the gap but I still hated the fit. So cropped my way is probably hip height or so ... This year, I am working on being intentional with purchases *my way* ... which means a lot less over-planning and a lot more paying attention to the data of my everyday life (e.g. reaching for the same item over and over, only to realize I don't have it). I am also feeling very content with my wardrobe at the moment, so many of these items may fall off the list, some I may be able to satisfy well enough with what I've got, and items might be added. This is meant to be a visual anchor rather than a hard-and-fast list. The Items:  - striped tee in a loose fit - I may have a sufficient item in my wardrobe currently, but I will test it out this spring. - *new Birkenstocks - considering a metallic but undecided - *zip up rash guard - practical item for summer - a light blue sweater and a cropped cardigan - might be able to kill two birds with one stone here. The cardigan's purpose is to update my "blouse + jeans" formula for casually-dressed-up - Lululemon swiftly top in a happy colour - for day to day wear - *yoga pants with an updated leg shape - not too baggy for practicality's sake. I currently wear my one pair of non-gym black leggings to death - navy midi sundress - white shorts in an updated style - baggier and longer - an updated black belt (*a practical necessity) Feel free to comment and/or add your own wishlists! xx
