I've simply hit on a few brands - 90% Furla! - that really work for me. I'm an Italophile! I'm also satisfied and a trendy classic. I don't need more than what a gorgeous Furla can provide.....so I scour the styles and colours that can work for me, and take it from there. The silver Circus bag is perfect for cold weather and seems to go with everything. Pretty much a dupe for the stylish Think Royln crossbody. I like that I can swap out the strap easily too.</p> <p>Last summer I bought a straw satchel and found the style really practical. I could slip my wrist through the handles easily or use the shoulder strap. I decided to look for a winter version, and found the Fossil bag online for a great price. It's my "lady" bag. This year I bought 2 - I think . A cream coloured Matt &amp; Natt large envelope style cross body , and this pre-loved Coach  (photo below).  The Coach convertible cross-body bag was a gamble in that I don't love red things , but the graphic sensibility really caught my eye . Plus the shape and size are perfect.  It's turned out to be my favourite bag to wear when I can make it work with whatever coat/boots I'm wearing that day. Still using almost every day the 2019 muted bronze bag. One unexpected thing though- since buying my new Mazda in April 2021 it opens by pushing a button so long as the key is in the handbag. So I no longer need the car key or house key ( which is a digital card) in an outside pocket of the bag. Since we moved to our suburban location, I am mostly on my bike to get downtown. I still make use of the backpacks, but that's about it. The paniers on my bike hold whatever I buy. I do have fabric shopping bags as well but they are not used as part of my "look" since they fold up and tuck inside the backpack for carrying.&nbsp;</p> <p>I'm a bit tired of my Rebecca Minkoff backpacks and they are all looking a lot worse for wear, but it is hard to find similar backpacks with silver hardware. My 2022 handbag purchase was a white handbag, I thought it would have only worked for spring and summer but I have also used it in the cold weather and I appreciate the variety it gives, so it is a keeper.&nbsp;</p> <p>The flipside is that my preferred style of handbags (small, structured and minimal logos) is not great for travelling and I always end up at the airport handing over to poor Mr Minu half of the items which don't fit in my bag but I still need them in the flight. I promised him that I will buy a travelling bag in 2023. I spent more than a year looking for the right for me color and style. I think this is it.&nbsp;</div><div>I bought a black Golden Goose backpack for my swim gear but ended up using it to carry my laptop to work, as a beach bag and more. An instant workhorse.&nbsp;</div><div>I bought as I planned a couple of fabric bags - a cream canvas from APC, Marimekko canvas and plaid flannel from Massimo Dutti. The APC shopper was one of the most used bags this past summer.<br />The last one - a fabric crossbody from Uniqlo, fun and inexpensive way to participate in a trend. &nbsp;$25 Can well spent! I use it for grocery shopping, on my daily &nbsp;walks and such. Love it and think of maybe buying one more in fun color. Highly recommend! </p> <p>What bags did you buy?
