The jeans below were delivered to me yesterday and I LOVE them. They are high-waisted which works for my pancake behind since it keeps them from slithering down in back. I also like the NYDJ Alina which I may have irretrievably stained. Both jeans are very thick and the Alina is actually white and not cream. </p> <p>The 1901s seem to run TTS, at least in their Petite range. I ordered my normal size and a size up which I sometimes need if the cut is very slim. Some loose, lightweight chambray blue boyfriend jeans were great, too. Both feel too chilly back here in the land of mud, fog, and snowdrifts the size of icebergs (I'm actually hunting for black jeans-not-jeggings right now) but I look forward to putting them on again in May or June. The button fly cropped jeans from the gap are alovely thick cotton, and I think 1-2% elastase. I wore out my AT white clam diggers and long for a good replacement for summer.<br /> The Talbots fit problem you have could very well be what I have too. I tried on petites and regular sizes. And Boden is only offering the jeggings style in white. J.Crew has thinned their white denim fabric, and Madewell white jeans generally looked like jeggings (apart from one style).
