You have such great style. The first is so sharp and happy. I like the second outfit too, especially the jacket. I have a hard time finding graphic tees I like and often substitute a striped tee under a blazer instead.

Sara -- I'll be copying both you and Suz. I forgot to mention I have marked as one of my favorites. I love the nod to equestrian style the boots provide.

I am so grateful to you for all your great ideas! I have an alternative for the same jeans and jacket as #3 laid out for tomorrow. I am curious to see how few changes I can make before the outfit turns the point to feel like a success to me. I think shirt, belt and shoes change out actually. But not sure...

@ Ceit -- as usual you have a great eye for what is going on and suggestions. The sleeves on ths jacket dont stay scrunched well, I may just wear them long. And I think my houndstooth scarf is begging to join the fun.

@ Astrid -- I am so searching for a graphic T! Glad you like the belt, it's one of my favs and has been for many years.

@ Texstyle -- I so have a striped sweater.... and I just got a neon bubblegum pink silk shirt. I would have never in a million years thought to put it here. Great ideas!

@Caro -- That was a great tip for tucking pants into jeans. Ive used it 3 times already!

@ Day Vies - it has been my go to formula lately! I am trying to get all my winter weight wool jackets their annual wearing before it gets too warm her in a month or so.

@ Suz -I am so flattered you are marking to copy. You are totally one of my YLF style icons I am trying to consider the colors thing, I just recently came to to conclusion that I dont need pants in every color of the rainbow. I was actually going to wear the gingham shirt today with the red jeans and gray jacket but just didnt feel the red jeans this morning. But I did fushcia? Go figure!

Thanks Sara L and Raisin .... I am on the hunt for some graphic tops I like as I have purged most all of the prints I had pre-YLF.

Gorgeous!!! Wow, I love the white and fuchsia together (note to self: COPY that look!) So fresh and fun.

I understand what you mean about #2. You might also have been missing your shot of colour. I actually like the jacket, but maybe the whole thing is just too neutral for your taste.

Love the boxy cut on both jackets. I especially love the b/w check with the magenta jacket and white jeans. SUPER CUTE. This formula really works for you.

The jacket in 1 and 2 is a great color on you! For #3 I don't think it's a big miss, but maybe you would have enjoyed it more with a patterned shirt? Floral or graphic, some colors?

I think both outfits are good although I understand how sometimes an outfit doesn't feel quite right. I also like to wear my blazers over graphic tees but have a hard time finding tees that I like. I like the suggestion of a scarf for #2 in the meantime until you find some tees that work for you.

#1 looks great! Wonderful color. I agree, a graphic or patterned (stripe) tee would look better under that blazer in #3. Or a patterned button down or one in a bright color like neon coral.

I think #3 would look great with a graphic tee and a wider belt! Your fuchsia outfit looks great, I love the belt detail.

Can you scrunch the blazer sleeves more? I find the 3/4 length can be awkward sometimes. A scarf to disguise the plain tee? I like your idea of a graphic tee.

Love your fuchsia and white combo!

I very much enjoyed wearing the fushcia blazer and white jeans. I used so many YLFers inspirations here. DayVies for the white jeans paired with tall boots, Caro's link love post for how to get my bootcuts to fit in there, Suz's quest for a fushcia blazer to consider buying one, Angie's club monaco toppers post and recent pin of a white overcoat with these same type of buttons to decide to get this particular jacket, and MaryK and Modgrl's gingham shirts to consider adding one to my own closet. In all ways I consider this a YLF collaboration and am very happy wearing it! Which is a good thing because after taking the kids to the dentist today I've discovered that most of my shopping budget for the next few months will instead be going toward dental treatment expenses.... blah!

Now for the miss.... I feel like the pieces here should work but they just really dont for me. I tried a skinny belt instead of a fat one and dont really care for how it looks. The T seems too plain, I think i prefer buttondowns or (if I had one) a graphic T under my blazers. I do like the gray-brown jacket and similar to my Navy one have decided to casualize it and not save it for specific occasions any longer. Styling ideas and suggestion always welcome and appreciated!
