I think because they’re so low contrast with my skin. They’re also suede which makes them seem less dressy but still polished enough to elevate the casual frayed edge of the lighwash crops. Thought this exercise would help me identify the chaff and make me work on outfit creation rather than relying on FFBO. No revelations yet except that I don’t like being cold and that is how I ultimately decide what to wear even if I have planned something out ahead of time. I was able to clear out a few winter things that just weren’t practical for layering and/or didn’t seem to suit my style anymore so that is pretty exciting! My goal is to avoid exact outfit repeats until the weather changes—that’s where hopefully the creativity comes into play. We will see. Thanks for looking!<br /> 1: Weekend shopping/errands. Broke out the satchel.
