I personally do prefer the latter, for I don't really see a waist when it's tucked in, (I feel like a pencil with that stripe around it) but I can see it when the top kind of settles in it.<br />Skylurker - it is body con, and I'd probably not wear it for a meeting or presentation, but I don't think it's that bad.
