We forgot to keep sipping on our water-tubes when we were snowshoeing so they froze within minutes. About an hour and a half in I suggested we eat some snow! (I ended up drinking straight out of the reservoir)<br />You're right about it being prettier when you are warm Eliza. We filled our gas cans just in case. Thankfully the snow didn't really stick to the trees or it would've have been much worse!<br />Diana - I loved the snowshoeing! I just got them for us last month and this was our first time. My DH bought a new snowblower at the end of last year that handles the big snowfall really well. Plus it has heated handles! This is a record breaking dump!<br />pic #1 - the snow is as high as our fence line!<br />#2 - DH shoveling out to spruces to be able to knock snow off them<br />#3 - DH's natural beer cooler!<br />#4 - saving our tree. &nbsp;Last year there was a "dead line" from the snow coverage. We're taking better care this year.<br />#5 - &nbsp;"walking stick" tree...it looks pretty neat snow covered but too much snow right now<br />#6 - made it out to the garage!<br />#7 - time to shovel the side and out to the front! (might wait till snow is done and do it tomorrow)&nbsp;<br />#8 - We went snow shoeing earlier today and got interviewed on live tv for the news!</p>
