I think I want a refined pair. At first I thought of buying a lug sole pair but I just bought a pair of black with white soles. They look like they hit the model above the ankle, so I wonder if the length is one reason they might feel a bit less tidy? Perhaps shortening them a bit would help them hang a bit differently.&nbsp;</p> <p>The other contributor might be the top. I have some experience with light coloured ribbed or otherwise fitted tops not sitting or flattering as I would like. I do best wearing those tops with super high-waisted pants that feel utterly ridiculous (hitting just under the bust) but that smooth out my muffin tendencies to allow the top to sit smoothly.</p> <p>If wearing with a lower rise pant that lets parts of me spill over a bit, I semi-tuck the top and add a belt in many cases, and then add a topper of some kind to add a bit more structure and distract from that bit of roll that I am a bit self-conscious about.&nbsp;</p> <p>Anyway, that's just what works for me in similar circumstances. Those coloured knits really, really, suit you and seem to fit very well. A necklace could be a great addition, however I do think the outfits look nice enough without. I wonder if the pants in three might work better with the bergundy knit in the second pic? Somehow the cream knit seems to be not quite sitting 100% right. In my opinion ribbed knits can be a bit tricky. I wonder if you could throw a jacket such as a denim or canvas field jacket, over the cream top to help it look more integrated and provide more texture and volume, and just utilize it more as a light-coloured layering piece rather than a stand alone item? Or it may work well tucked into a higher waisted skirt or pants. Just my own ideas, feel free to disregard. I liked Thursday outfit the less. I think I look sloppy.</p> <p>Wednesday outfit was my second favorite. I still feel like it needed something else.</p> <p>Fridays outfit I liked the best. I sure have worn a necklace though. </p> <p>My 4th photo is how I wore my Apple Watch.</p> <p>I am going to document three outfits a week through March and note my improvement and my mistakes.<br /> Thank you any and all comments are welcome.</p> <p>Also I need to learn to smile. </p>
