Jenn, I live in the SF Bay Area and not SoCal where it is even milder. I am almost never outside at night or outside waiting for public transportation. If I am outside I am walking quickly for up to 15 minutes. I keep my indoor thermostat down to 60 or 62 degrees in the day so my indoor warmth needs are greater than those of normal people. My summer day temps are in the 70s (except when I work in the South Bay where they are in the 80s), and my winter temps are in the 60s or high 50s.

Btw, I see women, especially teens, in SoCal wear tall boots even in mild weather. But not Blundstones. (Is that their name?)

Ooh, I’m glad you reordered the jacket in a smaller size. It looks really great on you.

I’m paying careful attention to your reasoning on keeps/returns, because it seems like southern California may be in my future. If that happens, I’ll be at such a loss. I’ve never lived in a truly mild climate.

I think everything looks splendid on you, so I vote keep it all. If the arms are too tight, does that exclude the dress? It looks great on you (and I agree with Angie it needs a hack).

The PXXS Kut jacket came back into stock so I reordered just to *see*, ha, ha, ha. It may be one of those things that gets cancelled before it really gets processed, so who knows. I already have a dress length red cardigan, a red trench, and a red Eddie Bauer parka so I must have a *thing* for red outerwear. Yeah, it goes with gray. And black.

Thanks, Donna. Generally, you can't have wide low volume feet ;)

Sounds like you have flatter wide feet. Low arch and a low instep - like me so low volume - but the top of your foot is wide - so high volume. My feet are narrow all the way through.

YAY. Glad the silicone sleeves are working. Clever, aren't they.

Hi, Angie;
In addition to not really needing a jacket since I rarely wear them, the Kut is a bit too broad in the shoulders and a little wide. It would fit fine with a heavy sweater underneath -- except that I don't wear thick sweaters in mild California.

My feet are so flat and low volume that I can never get the lacing tight enough where one ties the bow. A lift at the heel helps a bit. And I could add a tongue pad but they tend to show. Medium width shoes that run wide tend to fit me better than officially wide width shoes since Wides also assume a higher volume fleshier foot.

Btw, those silicone toe sleeves really make a world of difference in alleviating my toe pain!

Go up a size in the dress?

The KUT jacket fits well. I see no issue with it being too big in the photo. Where is it too big?

DonnaF, you also don't look like you have low volume feet. They look wider up top. Are you sure?

For those of you interested in the 1901 dress: It is the CAP of the sleeve that is tight, not so much the under arm. Goes to show that something can look good without feeling good. For reference, I have had the same problem with J.Crew shirts.

The gray jacket fits exactly as the red jacket -- sloppy. Even my husband said they are too big. I should have remembered that Kut jackets run super big from the drape front jacket I bought at another NAS. I don't wear thick sweaters and the like, so yes, it is too big. The sleeves are very roomy, which is where smaller sizes often give me problems. The good news is I don't really *need* (and rarely wear) a jacket.

Additional items came in today, but I may wait until more arrive before I flood you with review postings.

Everything looks good! The shirt, cardi and skirt look very sharp. Love the red jacket if you can figure out fit.
I would try the dress pinned to a bit shorter to see how that looks.

Bummer that the shirt dress fit is a little off. It looks fantastic.

I'm in love with the red moto on you, and I'm wondering if it still feels too big with layers underneath?

I've run into that body-con leg issue with Kut Diana's in other fabrications. It's such a common issue for me with pants I've pretty much given up on anything that calls itself skinny. But these do look really good on you!

I love the shirt dress too! Darn that the arms are too tight!
The blue shirt is great
I also think the blue bag is very nice, very trendy, and very you.
I like the ponte skirt. Seems like a good fit.
I really like the red moto too and I see what you mean about the shoulders. But like Janet, it could be due to how you’re holding your phone.

That red jacket looks amazing on you! It doesn’t look wrong in the shoulders at all, but the way you are holding your phone might be interfering.

Panache is a great brand for small band sizes — I have two of their sports bras and they are workhorses.

I also ordered two sizes of the Kut plaid pants. The smaller ones came today and I must say there is not a lot of difference between the two, I suppose because of the stretch factor. I decided I will keep the smaller size because it will keep me from getting *too* comfortable with a size up, and I know they won’t bag out in the seat after a day of wear. Plus my ego would rather see the 8 than the 10.

1. That Panache bra looks great. We need a similar size, so I am going to look into this also with your review.

2. Cardigan looks nice -- I like the charcoal.

3. Halogen shirt also looks good. Is it too wrinkle-prone to keep?

4. Skirt looks terrific on you. I see no size problem.

5. I hear you on the body con of the Kuts. I'm not crazy about it either and initially planned to order a larger size. But it would be too big on the waist I think. So keeping what I have.

6. The red moto is gorgeous on you!! It's hard to see the shoulder fit here but if it feels too big, it probably is. However, try layering with what you'd wear it with.

7. Love the shirt dress, but if the arms are too tight, that's no good.

My first order finally came in yesterday(!) and later ones are trickling in.

Panache sports bra: TTS. My favorite used to be the Moving Comfort Fiona until the company was sold. I wear a 28 band in regular bras but my newish Panache sports bra is a 30, and I have Fiona’s in 32s and a 30. I ordered this one in a 28 and 30 but the 30 rode up ever so slightly in back so I am keeping the 28.

Moths seem to find my wool sweaters plus I find them a bit warm for California. My shoulders are slightly narrow, and if the arms are cut loose enough I take the smaller of my two sizes (PXS) in this type of cardigan.

Halogen shirts tend to work for me and this one had great reviews. I followed the advice to size down so this is a PXS. It wrinkles a lot however.

The Kut plaid pants technically fit in P2 since they don’t pull at tummy or give me muffin but I really don’t care for body con legs so a P4 and 2 are on their way to me.

I ordered the ponte skirt in my two sizes because I am not big on body con. The larger size poofed out a bit and this one loosened up a bit. It is thick enough to tuck the shirt without lumps and bumps.

I sized down on the Kut moto as advised from PS to PXS but to my eye this is still too big through the shoulders. The edges at the bottom and sleeves are raw so it would be quite easy to shorten the sleeves which are a little too long for me. Sadly, all the smaller sizes are gone so no PXXS. The color is a true red. I also have a gray on the way to me which I assume will also be too big.

The dress looks like it fits but I can’t lift my thick arms. The fabric is thick and fairly stiff but comfortable since the dress is all cotton.

My feet are too low volume for the mules and I will probably keep the blue bag.
