I'll look at Gap and Express as well as trying the Eddie Bauer's in a smaller size. With a limited clothing budget and needing 3-4 pairs, I'm not ready to spend the money on premium jeans. Are you attached to your new jeans being from Eddie Bauer? Many of us here are enthusiastic about premium denim...spending a bit more to get more for your money. Some of my favorite pair of jeans flatter my butt and thighs to make them look much "better", as in shape where you want it, than they really are! That's worth it, but not all my jeans cost a lot. You can also try Express skinnies with the high rise (see my photos posted today in them). Do you love your higher rise? I often put women in higher rises for that “girdle effect”. It helps enormously.<br /> o The skinny jeans are “straight legs” actually. I think you need to go down a size here too. The waistline might not work if you go smaller though. I don’t think this cut is great. It’s too baggy on the leg.</p> <p>The washes are all fine. There is too much fabric in the front and back. The extra amount of fabric in the front is deal breaker to me.
