I have missed having flat red sandals since my previous favourites (shown in pic 16) died, in 2017. Thanks J’Aileen, Suz and Jaime, I have kept #1 even though I don’t wear them much due to that strap. I love #8 Irina, that’s the worn looking pair I will be saddest about having to let go eventually, just such a gorgeous range of colours that go with lots of bright clothing items. It took about 12 months to find suitable fuchsia sandals after I gave up when I couldn’t find any for the May 2023 wedding in Canada. The block heel is good but I forgot when buying them that I don’t like square toes as much. They’re really good with the vintage Thai silk blouse.<br /> Thanks Kellygirl, you like some of my faves as well! The olive and the orange are a bit more casual I agree and get lots of casual wear in the summer.<br /> Thanks Bonnie and Kate! I laughed about you going hog wild Kate if your feet were easier!<br /> Thanks Lisa, I certainly hope they will be comfortable. They were comfortable in the store, I had already measured the heels on any higher pairs I own to see what my easy tolerance is. They were just a little bit higher than what I want to wear, only just, and I hoped that I will cope! I think I usually don’t like above 3 cm and these are 4 cm. I own higher than that (not sandals) but find I barely wear them. I do like dressy shoes and I have several clothing items they will be good with. The “boho” sandals in #2 were actually labelled as that style, they might have been Laguna Quays also, an Aussie brand I have always liked when I have seen them. They felt a bit Art Deco as well which I always love. Alas, all my sandals are now neutral, except my green ones, which are a bit muted and not quite the effect I was looking for. Several are looking a bit worn, mostly where you can’t see, on the inside, and I am loath to edit them if I don’t have a similar replacement.<br /> The oldest pair is the 2012 Minx love sandals which are not worn that much thanks to an annoying around the ankle strap which is hard to do up. Only worn twice last year. Cheapest were the 2016 green ones on outlet sale down from $150 to $19!
