Thanks for the advice Ashley, I had a bit of a squiz and not too keen on anything on there. Wish they'd make nicer looking boots for us bigger calf girls!

Modgrl Target doesnt ship to Australia - we have our own Target that are hopeless compared to yours and they dont have online shipping either grrr!

Does Target ship to Australia? Their Kachiri boots are the exact measurements you described, amazing colors, real leather and only $50 US. I have them in cognac and taupe. They don't have any detailing though. They are just simple, minimalist riding boots.

I have bought 2 pairs of flat heeled riding boots from WideWidths.com and I have never been able to find or wear boots before in my life. Not only do I have large calves, but I was also blessed with wide feet too and this amazing company sells wide foot widths too. The best part of all is that I didn't get all excited for nothing because every boot has a calf size listed for each foot size so I was able to pick a pair of riding boots in their "super wide calf" category. I found out about them in an Australian forum and lots of women have bought from them. They were great to work with.

As soon as I opened the carton and tried on my boots for the first time my husband thought someone was attacking me in our living room when he heard me shriek! It was for joy though! I have since purchased a great pair of over-the-knee boots. They had loads of styles and sizes earlier but check them out and keep them in mind if you can't find your size now. Their customer service dept. rocks - very nice and extremely helpful! Good luck!

They do exist -- but they are maybe 25 to 30% of the knee boots out there. I picked up 2 pairs I really like from a local shoe boutique Arnold Churgin (1 black and 1 dark brown, and not is the same year) and they have 14" or larger calves. I really love them, had them for a few seasons.

Also, look for details that give more stretch in the calf such as elastic inserts or leather pieces with buckles. If they are subtly done, they still have the right look for a riding boot. Just keep checking the different sites, especially come August (it may take awhile, sorry).

I seem to have trawled through many websites, looked at many different boots and I just cant find what I'm looking for. My ideal boot is a flat riding style zip up boot in a cognac/chestnut color but I will settle for pull on or anything with a bit of detailing (buckles etc.) my only dealbreakers are black or high heels. I also have to be sure about what I'm getting because I'll be buying them over the net and shipping to Australia is too expensive to consider returning anything. I am about 5'1" and my calves are 15".

All the boots I have been considering are either too tall for me (Steve Madden Intyce, Frye Paige, Rockport Ainly or Clarks Lyme Grass) or not in the right colors (Clarks Derby Palace). I know there are some of my fellow larger calf sisters out there which have been generously answering some questions previously, but I am desperately pleading for some more help before all the cold weather arrives.
