We are here in NOLA. Just had a great meal of oysters and po boys at Acme Oyster House. DH and I are in for the night while college boy hits Bourbon st. with a frat brother who just happens to be in town. ;)</p> <p>I did pack a leather jacket (well, I wore it since it was 36 degrees when we left today!), and a cami for the boho blouse. </p> <p>So far so good. It's 65 degrees and the next few days will be in the 70s. Thanks for the helpful packing insights. I do feel great about my closet these days (thanks, Anne). The weather just changes there so quickly. I've had to buy impromptu umbrella, hat, and sweater there at various times, so I think you'll be good to go if you have layers and a good jacket or maybe a light trench coat. </p> <p>There are so many little fun shops and places there to pick up something fun to bring home. If you are only going for 4 days, do you need that many dresses / skirts? So, I just spent an hour throwing this together. The weather is going to be warmish, ranging from the low 60's to mid-70's, so I'm trying to bring layers. It's been such a cold winter I've forgotten how to dress for warm weather. ;)</p> <p>Here's what I'm thinking of bringing:</p> <p>#1 - 2 pair straight-leg denim/denim jacket/white moto vest/pink scarf/striped top/navy top<br /> #2 - two packable printed jersey dresses, a pullover sweater, crossbody bag<br /> #3 - b/w boho top (new!), black midi skirt, Bailey 44 skirt<br /> #4 - #Boots, dressy flats, patent loafer</p> <p>The rest are just photos of these pieces styled in different ways. I figure I can wear the boots for walking around and if we go someplace hip and the dressy flats when we go out to nice dinners. If the boots are too hot, I can always wear the loafers or flats.</p> <p>What do you think? Am I missing anything? I'm thinking I could throw in another colored scarf. Everything is so neutral! </p>
