Re wide width boots-might be too early but check QVC. They always have waterproof options and often offer wides. And for those who need a wider shaft on tall boots they tend to offer that as well.

So happy to hear about the good fit on the blazer, and hopefully the pants will work for you as well.

I used to have fairly narrow feet, but the last several years I've been unable to tolerate any hint of feeling squeezed in shoes. I've got a pair that are about 5-6 years old, and I wanted to replace them with a larger size. I've moved almost all of my footwear up a size and the boots are my last category. It really hurt to give away such nice boots, but I cannot stand to feel uncomfortable any more. I also tried the same Blondo boots this morning, and I found them too narrow feeling.

My first job out of college was managing an athletic shoe store. I cannot tell you the number of shoes I had to lace up. None of the shoes came pre laced. I got pretty quick at lacing, but would be sorely out of practice now.

I notice the shoes/boots seem to be moving in a pointier direction. I can consider an almond toe, but not a pointy one, though I do like the look on others.

YAY for the blazer! I hope the matching pants work too, Tina! FINGERS CROSSED :)

Joseph Seibel runs wider than ECCO if that helps. Fit Flop sneakers too.

Try Dansko, Asics and Brooks for walking sneakers. Those are the faves with clients with wider feet.

Aha! That's why my last couple of pairs of Ecco's seem too tight in the toes. I figured the problem was my feet. Thanks for the info.

I've worn New Balance walking shoes for years, but lately I'm having problems with them as well. They don't have enough arch support and I had to add an arch support to make them work.

I'm glad the one blazer works for you.

My anniversary sale items have all arrived. Two blazers, 3 pairs of sneakers, and one pair of boots.

I'm keeping only the Vince Camuto plaid one-button blazer (plus size) and have ordered the matching pants. The blazer is a perfect fit -- not something that happens often. Even the sleeves are the correct length. Sorry for anyone with longer arms, but I love the sleeve length.

The Colorblock Houndstooth Open Front Blazer (plus size) is poorly made. Weird puckers where the black fabric is joined to the houndstooth. Bulgy in the shoulders. Love a good houndstooth, but this isn't it.

Shoes... sigh. I need to go into the store to try on shoes. Size has changed after not wearing shoes much for 3+ years and a weight increase.

The Eccos, which I bought in the size of all of my current Eccos (5 pairs) are too narrow, especially in the toes. Eccos used to be shaped like Danish feet, but they've increasingly narrowed since they quit being made in Denmark.

Blondo waterproof booties were a longshot since they usually run narrow. I sized up, but they pinch my toes without socks, so back they go. Client meetings in the winter involve wet parking lots and sidewalks, so I had some hope they would work out.

The two pairs of athletic sneakers were no as well.

I couldn't even get the On Cloud 9 ones on as my instep is high and these are not.

The New Balance are just too narrow (also I've NEVER had shoes show up that I had to put the laces in!)

Fingers crossed for the Vince pants.
