My colleagues were beyond generous with their gift. They knew how much I enjoy the process of creating pieces and chose to have me design my own, instead of selecting a piece for me. They also know how much I enjoy pieces that are linked to people, places and memories.&nbsp;<div>&nbsp; Lyn67 and Nomad all of the rocks are tumbled, which is what gives them their shine. You can get an idea of what a stone will look like by getting it wet. The stones I took in were all found in Maine. We used 4 of the stones I took in and I selected 3 from ones the jeweler had. &nbsp;When the bracelet was being made, it was decided that I would need one more stone. I asked the jeweler to choose one for me.<br />&nbsp; The rock for the ring was one from the jeweler’s collection. A beach stone bracelet is the result. Some of the stones are ones I found in special places. Others were selected from stones the jeweler had. I am sooooo happy with the results!<br />&nbsp; The ring was a gift to myself. I fell in love with the stone, which reminds me of an animal print. Haha, for decades, I rocked being an educator and now I am rocking this retirement gig. I have much to be be grateful for.<br />&nbsp; Thank you for looking!<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; </p>
