My experience with brushed rayon is that it's so soft and textured that it doesn't drape well, and, yes, it does pill. (Thankfully the snag pulled back into shape with a little tugging.) So, I might need to find a pendant that is snag-free and that I love. Mine have some snaggy points. (I'm never opposed to more shopping ha!) The plaid dress... I do love it but the longer I try it on and mull over it, the more I wish it was longer. (I really didn't think the shorter length would bother me, but it is.) Also, the fabric is a brushed woven rayon, and worry it will eventually pill. I'm debating to return it and find or sew something similar, but longer length. (See attached photos.) The very full, short skirt adds a lot of visual appeal width, beyond anything I feel remotely comfortable with. I also don’t have the patience to try salvaging this into a top. I think it’s a return. </p> <p>2. Plaid mini shirtdress. Biggest surprise of the entire haul! I fully expected to hate this on myself. And… I love it! Great colors. Soft rayon woven fabric. It definitely needs leggings and some short booties or 70s knee high boots. (I’m just not a combat/Doc Martin boots girl, though I know that’s the current trend.) I think it’s darling. It gives me 70s vibes, which I oddly love something about. </p> <p>3. Teal dolman top. I’m wondering if I need to size down on this? It’s incredibly soft and comfortable, but I feel it’s rather shapeless on me. </p> <p>4. Rust knotted top. I’m not sure on this. Excellent color. Super soft and comfortable. The waist detail is great. The neckline would be infinitely better as a scoop or v-neck. I want to keep it and yet, I don’t want to settle—not even for a comfortable house top. Look how you’ve all rubbed off on me! </p> <p>5. Wedge shoes. These were a gamble. I’m not sure about them. I need to try them on with jeans and maxi t-shirt dresses to see if I like them better or if they’re a miss. They are super comfortable, so that’s a bonus.
