I personally am not a big fan of pink and brighter blues together. After not wearing white bottoms for five years l am finding a trickiness to styling them. The fabric on top must not be too heavy, I need some contrast as well. I agree to rather wear tunics with wider bottoms, even straight jeans rather than leggings if you don't have wide bottoms. That said I have some slightly cropped zebra print leggings that I will wear in summer just not with the traditional tunic top we saw years ago. I like to wear them with a long cotton button down that is so long it feels like hybrid tunic/button down. Actually it doesn't have buttons but metal pressers.
