In case anyone is looking, here's the Everlane sweater.&nbsp;</p> <p>It's a mix of alpaca and other fibres. I was not sure I could wear it, due to the potential itch factor -- and indeed, when the weather's very damp, I need to put a full tee under it. When the weather is less damp, a cami is fine. It's beautifully soft and light as a cloud (hence its name) yet it is warm. It drapes and has dramatic and feminine sleeves. Yet they collapse easily under a jacket. I think it's worth a try excet for those who are extremely sensitive to fuzzy wools.&nbsp;</p> <p>For me, it is a replacement for my old Club Monaco sweater with dramatic sleeves (photo 3). Nada. So the dress is carrying the ball!<br />No wrinkles out of package, woven tech fabric with smooth hand, not heavy, certainly not too light. Fabric goals. Not at all see through in navy colour and does not telegraph. Already think this is coming on all my travels.&nbsp;<br />It has princess seaming, very well done, provides a little structure. No zipper or closures. Pullover.&nbsp;<br />It’s a royal blue, or almost a purple. So in the navy family, but bright. A good Autumn colour, or a Winter would be lovely in this.&nbsp;<br />It has POCKETS. And a lot of swoosh. I’d dance in this.&nbsp;<br />It’s long on me, bear in mind that this is a large to accommodate wide shoulders and chest, and I am 5 feet tall. This is perfect maxi length on me. It would be midi on you taller ladies.&nbsp;<br />I tried it on with a scarf, a mesh cardigan, and a dark denim blue linen shirt. I will be wearing this with flats, but a pair of kitten heels would be pretty.&nbsp;<br />I think that a sweater or large blouse over this would be great for casual. Will be looking for a topper or two now.&nbsp;<br />Heading to Austin for the celebration, 90 degree heat and indoor/outdoor. I've bought a couple of pairs of jeans to try based on everyone's feedback, combined with availability of sizes, etc.</p> <p>1. Wide leg crops - I actually like these a lot more than I thought I would - I sort of bought them to say I tried, but was extremely tempted (possibly would have needed a size down).</p> <p>2. Cigarette leg crops - These were 'heck yes' when I put them on - close enough to my tried and true style, but the finished hem, lighter wash, and higher waist make them different enough from my standard to feel fresh. I also really like that this wash feels neutral to me, whereas some lighter washes read as colourful.&nbsp;</p> <p>Ultimately, I am going to keep the cigarette leg jeans and return the wide legs. Even though I really like the wide legs, the question I couldn't find a good answer for was "<b><i></i></b><i>When would I choose these over the other pair?</i><b></b>" As someone who tends to repeat favorites, I know these would play second fiddle and I can't see a useful purpose they would fill. I also think the slimmer jeans will be more versatile and see a longer season of wear; summer in Toronto is pretty hot and gross, so summer jeans doesn't make a ton of sense, and these seem to have more of a summer vibe to my eye at this point. So back they go, and if I come to regret it, well, they won't be the last wide leg jeans I can ever find!</p> <p>Thoughts welcome!
